The International Rostrum of Electroacoustic Music, (TIME/IREM) supported by IMC-UNESCO and ICEM (International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music) is one of the most important international selections. Broadcasting Organisations from all over the world take part to this competition.
The 2004 edition has taken place in Rome and was hosted by RAI Radio3 in collaboration with Federazione CEMAT. The winning work of this edition is Monada 3 composed by the Polish author Cezary Duchnowski.
This important achievement is an ideal occasion to present, together with the Polish works, the compositions by the Italian authors Emanuele Casale and Luigi Ceccarelli, (selected and mentioned at the last edition of IREM in 2002) dedicating a homage to the great composer Luciano Berio.
