He currently studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with Gordon Hunt and Richard Simpson. During this time he has participated in many of the Schools' ensembles including the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra under Sir Colin Davies, Guildhall Opera and Chamber Orchestra. He also plays Principal Oboe with the National Musicians Symphony Orchestra and the St Cecilia Orchestra.  In 2004 he was privileged to be admitted into the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP), where he received expert tuition from Monsieur David Walter. During his time at the Conservatoire Steven played with the Symphony Orchestra, Harmony Orchestra and Contemporary Music Ensemble. He was also a member of the Chamber Ensemble 'Intercontinental Sextet' and gave performances all over Paris including Cite de la Musique and Centre Czech, St Germain de Pres. In the future Steven would like to pursue an Orchestral and Solo career. He is currently on trial with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and will be engaged in many solo and chamber projects in 2006.
