Emilio Pomarico - Biography
Buenos Aires

Born in Buenos Aires, the conductor Emilio Pomarico studied in Italy and attended master classes of Franco Ferrara and Sergiu Celibidache.
He has been a guest of the great concert halls and institutions in Italy, such as the Radio Symphony Orchestras of Milan, Turin, Rome, at the Teatro La Fenice of Venice, at Milan's La Scala and at the Opera House in Rome.
He has conducted European orchestras such as the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the SWR Sinfonieorchester of Baden-Baden und Freiburg, and has appeared at festivals such as the Festival d'Automne à Paris and the Edinburgh International Festival.
Emilio Pomarico is a professor at the Civica Scuola de Musica in Milan.
