He studied clarinet at Perugia Conservatory of Music where he graduated in 1989. He started a busy concert activity with chamber groups and orchestras. In Perugia Conservatory he also attended the course of Electronic Music given by Luigi Ceccarelli graduating in 2001.

Before the end of his studies he started working as an assistant of Luigi Ceccarelli for the theatre work Requiem (Ravenna Festival 2001, Festival di Sant'Arcangelo 2001). In 2002 he took part with the role of sound engineer to: Biennale Teatro, Musica e Danza di Venezia, Festival di Sant'Arcangelo, Ravenna Festival with Sogno di una notte di mezza estate by W. Shakespeare re-written and directed by Marco Martinelli on music by Luigi Ceccarelli. In 2003 his first theatre work is on stage: music for a reading over of Il cuore del Cinema by W.V.Majakoswki, for clarinet, live electronics and reciter. He is also assistant at the Department of Informatics applied on music and of the Laboratory of Electronic music at Perugia Conservatory.
