Frédéric Gnuffi received his diploma in 1998 at the State Conservatory �"G. B. Martini�" of Bologna. In 2005 he was accepted in the class of Jonathan Williams at the State Conservatory �"B. Maderna�" in Cesena, where he received his Master Degree in Music Performance in 2007. Moreover he attended many masterclasses at the Music School of Fiesole, attending the annual courses of Guido Corti and the masterclasses of Radovan Vlatkovic; he also won in 2006 the �"Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze�" scholarship, for musical abilities.
In both years 1998 and 2000 he won the contest to attend the courses for Orchestra Professor of the Scala Philharmonic orchestra�'s Academy. In the year 2000 he passed the auditions for the Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchester. In the year 2001 he passed the audition for Mythos course of the Arturo Toscanini Foundation. From the 2000 to the year 2002 he attend courses for Orchestra Professor, organized by Tuscany Region Office and the Music School of Fiesole, where he received the qualification of Orchestra Professor. Frédéric Gnuffi partecipated at the �"Erl Summer Festival�" (Tirolo) with the Junge Osterreichische Philharmonie Orchestra, wich invited him the following year as well. From 1998 to 2002 he played with the �"Orchestra Giovanile Italiana�" with which he did several tours, under the lead of prestigious conductors such as Luciano Berio, Eliahu Inbal, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Jurij Aronovic, Gabriele Ferro and Gian Andrea Noseda. For the year 2003/2004 he passed the Euyo (European Union Youth Orchestra) selections. In September of the years 2004, 2005 and 2007 he attended the masterclasses of the Gustav Mahler Academy of Ferrara and in October 2004, the masterclass of the Gustav Mahler Academy of Bolzano. In 2004 he performed as soloist the Konzertstück op. 86 of R. Schumann conducted by George Pehlivanian. He passed the selections for the Savona�'s Symphony Orchestra, collaborated with �"Società Filarmonia�" of Udine, with the �"Associazione Filarmonica Salernitana�", with the �"Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza�", with Rome and Lazio Region�'s Orchestra, with Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, with Tuscany Region�'s Orchestra, with Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, with Orchestra Mozart by Claudio Abbado, with Italian Philharmonic Orchestra of Piacenza, with �"Orchestra Città di Ravenna�", with �"Orchestra Bruno Maderna�" of Forlì, with the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic Orchestra of Parma, with �"Città Lirica Orchestra�", with the �"Arts Academy�" Orchestra of the �"Cassa di Risparmio di Roma�" Foundation, with Federazione CEMAT (SIXE) and with the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale of Spoleto Orchestra. Frédéric Gnuffi performed with the �"Orchestra Luigi Cherubini�" conducted by Riccardo Muti from 2005 to 2008. He performs with the Vincenzo Galilei Orchestra of Florence where Carlo Maria Giulini, Daniele Gatti, Jorma Panula and Gabriele Ferro have taken their Orchestra Conduction courses. In 2003 he founded �"Trio Atem�", for horn, violin and piano. With this trio he won 2nd prize at the 2nd �"Festival delle Arti�" in Bologna. He was invited as associated teacher in �"Corso di formazione per professori d�'orchestra�" held by Toscanini Foundation.
