Tacitevoci Ensemble is a group of musicians who, in various and composite formations, carries out a research and experimentation activity on voice with the guidance of Bruno de Franceschi, who founded the group and is the author of many artistic projects.
The technical and cultural formation of the Ensemble comes from various and different experiences (cultivated and extra cultivated music, jazz and folk music). An important element of their formation is the attention towards theatre, which allows the research of a vocality connected to the word and to the body.
The performances of the ensemble include frequently movements and dramaturgy, as though the performers found themselves in a sort of post-melodrama (in which music doesn't stand anymore foremost) searching for the memory of the word and the text, paying attention to the most significant and emblematic experiences of their vocal research (C. Bene, D. Stratos, K. Berberian, Roy Hart).
They are experts of harmonic singing and supporters of the "personal and authentic" use of the voice; they carry out their research activity opening the communication towards the idea of musical theatre and "contaminated" art in general. They make particular efforts in the field of formation and in diffusing the use of voice as an instrument and listening techniques.
The Ensemble has produced and recorded many works such as recitals and holy music, puppet light operas, experimentation and improvisation. They collaborated with ensembles and several artists such as M. Ben Omar, P. Dalla Porta, Naqqara Ensemble, C. Pezzoli, Massimo Castri, Marco Bagnoli.
